Firefox SEOQuake: The Add-on That Is Shaking Up Search Engine Marketing

SEOQuake is another Firefox add-on that gives small business marketers more ammunition in the deployment of search engine optimization tactics. Through the customization of various parameters, SEOQuake allows for the compilation of search engine marketing data for a more complete online marketing picture.
Parameters. The parameters are a collection of preferences relating to page rankings and links for the most influential search engines on the web. Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Alexa, among others, are included in the selection choices for specifying how the SEOQuake user will monitor all aspects of search engine marketing from one toolbar extension. SEOBar. The SEOBar differs from the SEOQuake toolbar in two ways. The SEOBar is a floating toolbar that hovers in your browser window. And the SEOBar returns specific requested results of your preset parameters whereas the SEOQuake toolbar contains all of your preset parameters. As you scan web sites for information, the SEOBar provides specific information for each site visited based upon your customized configurations. Common examples of preset parameters found on the SEOBar:
*Google PageRank. Where does a specific site rank among Google’s indexed pages?
*Yahoo! Links. How many links are associated with this web site?
*(Keyword) Density. How often do the keywords appear in this web site?
The SEOBar is a handy abbreviation to the SEOQuake toolbar to condense search engine results and facilitate on-the-spot web page analysis.
Exclusives. SEOQuake has some exclusive tools that are especially useful in tailoring search engine optimization techniques for the highest SERP ranking possible.
*Yahoo! Site Explorer. When coupled with Yahoo! Site Explorer, SEOQuake is a valuable search engine marketing expansion for immediate page rank results. With every results through Yahoo!, SEOQuake provides results based on the user’s parameters.
*Google BlogSearch. With the Google BlogSearch parameter, a one-click action on the relative toolbar button immediately returns results of blogs in the search category.
